Thirty years after their legendary rivalry, Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) are back in Cobra Kai, an original YouTube Premium series that premiered in 2018.
In the series, Johnny is a washed-up former karate champion struggling to make ends meet. Haunted by the mistakes of his past, he decides to reopen the infamous Cobra Kai dojo, hoping to reignite his glory days.
Meanwhile, Daniel has become a successful businessman and family man, but he's still haunted by his own karate past. When he learns that Johnny has reopened Cobra Kai, he fears that the dojo will become a breeding ground for bullies once again.
As the series progresses, Johnny and Daniel's rivalry is rekindled, and they once again find themselves at odds over the future of karate in the Valley.
