TDP Leader's Son Contesting Assembly Polls
Nara Lokesh, the son of former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu, is contesting the assembly polls with assets valued at around Rs 5427 crore.
Lokesh has come a long way in state politics, from being a backroom boy for his father to a prominent figure in the TDP.
After the TDP was reduced to just 23 seats in the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Assembly election, many political experts said it was a dead end for the party.
However, Lokesh has not given up on the TDP and is working hard to revive the party's fortunes.
Chandrababu Naidu, who is Lokesh's father-in-law, remained in the Congress Party and even dared to contest against his father-in-law in the 2014 Assembly election.
