T20 World Cup: West Indies and USA to host 2024 tournament

The ninth edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be held in the West Indies and USA from June 1 to 29, 2024.
The tournament will feature 20 teams, with the top 12 teams from the ICC T20I rankings automatically qualifying. The remaining eight teams will qualify through regional tournaments.
The full schedule and fixtures for the tournament have been released, with the opening match to be played between the West Indies and USA at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago on June 1.
The tournament will be played across eight venues in the West Indies and USA, with the semi-finals and final to be held at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground in London.
Tickets for the tournament will go on sale in early 2024.
